Find Steady Ground in the Midst of Life’s Complexity

A young man with short brown hair and glasses sits on a wooden chair in front of a plain light-colored wall. He is wearing a brown and white patterned sweater, black pants, and has a slight smile.

Life can become heavy, confusing, or disconnected in ways that are difficult to explain. You may be carrying anxiety, relationship stress, old wounds, or pressure that others do not fully see.

Therapy offers a place to slow down, make sense of what is happening, and begin finding steady ground again.

I work with men, couples, and individuals seeking healing, clarity, and a more connected way of living.

How I Help

I work with clients navigating:

  • Anxiety and chronic stress

  • Relationship conflict and communication struggles

  • Trauma and painful past experiences

  • Men’s issues and identity questions

  • Religious deconstruction and spiritual wounds

  • Burnout and emotional exhaustion

  • Life transitions and uncertainty

  • Loneliness or disconnection

Special Areas of Focus

Trauma & Religious Deconstruction

Helping clients process painful experiences, harmful systems, spiritual wounds, and inherited stories that continue to shape the present.

Couples Therapy

Helping couples slow destructive patterns, communicate more honestly, and rebuild connection.

Anxiety Therapy

Supporting clients who feel overwhelmed, restless, overburdened, or stuck in constant internal pressure.

Therapy for Men

Helping men carry less on their own, develop emotional clarity, and build healthier confidence and relationships.

Why Clients Choose Me

Clients often appreciate that I am:

  • Calm, steady, and easy to talk with

  • Warm without being passive

  • Thoughtful and deeply present

  • Able to create safety for difficult conversations

  • Practical while honoring emotional depth

  • Respectful of complexity, culture, and lived experience

My Counseling Philosophy

Many people learn to survive by staying busy, shutting down emotionally, pleasing others, or carrying burdens alone. These strategies often begin as protection—but over time they can create anxiety, resentment, loneliness, and disconnection.

Therapy can become a place to move from survival mode into a more honest and connected life.

My approach is relational, grounded, and collaborative. Together we work to understand old patterns, process painful experiences, strengthen emotional awareness, and create healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning. Growth often starts simply by telling the truth about where you are.

A Little More About Me…

My life has been shaped by meaningful experiences across cultures from an early age, giving me a deep appreciation for the complexity of people, identity, and belonging.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years serving in communities impacted by homelessness in Los Angeles while also completing graduate training. That season formed in me a lasting respect for resilience, dignity, and the strength people carry through hardship.

Outside the office, I enjoy design, meaningful conversation, great coffee, creating a meal from scratch, and creating spaces where people can feel at ease.
